Terms of Service
Draft, last updated 5 July 2026
The service
DeTranslator processes audio and video recordings you upload and produces a version containing only the language you select, removing the spoken translations in other languages. You are quoted a fixed price before any charge; a hold is placed on your card when you confirm, and it is captured only after your file has been processed successfully. If processing fails, the hold is released and you pay nothing.
Accuracy
Speech processing is probabilistic. We aim to retain essentially all speech in your selected language and remove other languages; brief fragments of other languages can remain where speakers overlap, and every job is checked with an automated quality measurement. If a result is materially defective, contact us within 14 days and we will re-process the file or refund the charge.
Your content
You must hold the rights to the recordings you upload. Uploads and results are stored for a limited period (see the Privacy Policy) and then deleted. We never use your recordings for anything except processing your job.
Acceptable use
No uploading of content that is unlawful or that you lack the rights to process. We may refuse service and cancel jobs that violate these terms.
Liability
The service is provided as-is; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected job.
